Laila Danielsen is a serial entrepreneur and an experienced tech executive with a career successfully bringing emerging technologies to market with expertise in enterprise software and technology at both Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley start-ups. Due to her exceptional leadership skills and strong customer-orientation, Ms. Danielsen has a long history of success in bringing technology to market and building focused teams, including FastScale Technology Inc. (acquired by EMC/VMware), Scali (acquired by Platform Computing), and HotLink Corportion. She has also held management roles at IBM, Penguin Computing and other companies. Danielsen shares her expertise as an advisor to ascending companies. She is a speaker at top MBA programs and an advisor for Innovation Norway. She was awarded an MS at the Norwegian School of Economics and a BA at University of San Francisco.

Dr. Holger Hussmann is an enthusiastic tech and business leader with a background from top tier mobile and SW industries. He worked in various leadership positions in Nokia and Telenor where he successfully turned ideas into mass market products. In the late 90s he was instrumental to invent the Bluetooth wireless technology. He was elected as Vice Chairman of the Bluetooth SIG Board of Directors and with his engagement and strategic directions, he helped to grow the world wide adoption of the de-facto standard. In his function as Head of Operations of Nokia´s Chipset Development Unit, he gained detailed experience with the technologies used in modern mobile devices. His assignment with Telenor allowed him to work with mobile devices and internet services and he created a new mobile app which could acquire more than 2 million monthly active users in its first year. Dr. Hussmann holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University of Technology, Germany.

Guenael Strutt is an experienced tech leader, having spent over 16 years in product development, system integration and user experience design for both Fortune 500 companies and tech start-ups. With over 40 wireless communication and handheld device interaction patents, his robust vision for technology products has resulted in the delivery of compelling mobile solutions. Before joining Elliptic Labs, Strutt served as Software Development Manager at Lab126/Amazon, leading a team in designing and prototyping new user experiences for portable devices. Strutt graduated with a diplôme d’ingénieur from the University of Technology of Compiègne, France, an MS from Florida Atlantic University, and an MBA from Rollins College.

Randi Fagervik

CFO & IR

Espen Klovning brings more than 16 years of engineering proficiency to his position of VP of Engineering at Elliptic Labs. His management experience includes executive positions in technology companies and repeatedly building successful and highly performing engineering teams. Previously, he was director of engineering at Cisco Systems, worked for Tandberg and was VP, R&D at Birdstep Technology. In 1998, he founded Advanced Communications Technology, drawing on his extensive engineering knowledge. Earlier in his career he was a research scientist for Telenor. He is author of several Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) RFCs and has written over ten scientific papers on communications protocols. Klovning holds several patents in wireless communication and mobility.

Angelo Assimakopoulos is an experienced business development leader with over 20 years of experience across multiple vertical market (Consumer Electronics, Electrical Products, Automotive components and Sporting Goods). He has led multiple Product Management/Marketing teams to the development of state of the art products with profitable growth. He has also led the charge of Sales expansion into Geographical markets in Asia, Europe and Latin American including distribution channels. Angelo also brings experience in Operation Development in China, Taiwan, Switzerland, US and Latin America. The past 15 years he has been a recognized proliferated of MEMS sensor technology for the consumer market and has been an invited speaker at certain industry symposium and universities. With his experience and knowledge of the consumer market, Angelo brings a great deal of structure and strategy development for Elliptic Labs. Angelo holds a BSME from Illinois Institute of Technology and has been awarded several patents.

Randi Fagervik is a dedicated and experienced manager and capital markets specialist with 20 years of extensive experience from investment and corporate banking, involving origination and client relationship management, business development as well as execution of a numerous national and cross-border equity and debt transactions, such as IPOs, M&A and LBOs.

Prior to joining Elliptic Labs, Fagervik worked at the Listing and Legal Department at the Oslo Stock Exchange, with main responsibility for the energy sector. She served a broad client portfolio of about 60 share listed companies in addition to several bond issuers within various industries; and she was responsible for development of new exchange rules and continuing obligations for listed companies, such as the successful re-launch of the market place Merkur Market. Fagervik has also held positions as COO, Head of Execution and Director at the corporate finance departments at DNB, Pareto Securities and Agasti Capital Markets, as well as VP at DNB Bank, Corporate Banking division, advising clients within the telecom and technology sector. She received a Master of Science from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), specialized in finance and strategy, and has studied three years of law and science at the University of Bergen.
