About

Elliptic Labs is a spin-out from the signal processing environment at the University of Oslo, and was established as a company in 2006. Our initial research background was in echo-management systems for multi-antenna mobile communication, for which one of the company’s founders received the IEEE Best Young Author Award in 2005. New applications based on echo-location and echo-management principles were explored, and since it’s beginning, the company has specialized in ultrasonic signal processing for touchless human computer-interaction. Currently, we are jointly creating solutions with partners who feel that touchless interaction is an important part of the user experience.
